We represent sellers and buyers as well as tenants and landlords in both transactional and litigation matters.

Transactional Matters

We provide counsel and advice to sellers and buyers and prepare purchase and sale agreements and other real estate documents for primarily residential properties. We help our clients to negotiate terms for the purchase and sale. In addition, we will work with our clients' lenders, real estate brokers and agents, title companies, and escrow agents to facilitate a smooth transaction. We review closing documents to ensure that all information is correct and that our clients' rights are protected. In addition, we prepare real estate trusts and real property agreements between co-owners of property.

We prepare lease agreements for residential landlords, and review, analyze and modify leases on behalf of both residential and commercial tenants. We also work with homeowner associations, providing legal advice and counsel and drafting covenants, conditions and restrictions.

Litigation

We handle a variety of real estate litigation claims including representing sellers and buyers in real estate contract disputes. We litigate contract as well as professional liability claims against title companies, escrow agents and companies, and real estate agents and companies. We also litigate boundary disputes, quiet title actions, adverse possession, easement disputes, land and timber trespass, and various land use issues. In addition, we represent landlords in unlawful detainer actions.
